My dear brother and sisters in Islam, we all make mistakes, but what matters is how we accept it and how we make repentance over it.
Indeed, we read a lot of stories about great people who were once sinners but look at how Allah SWT raised their statuses after they have given their lives in full service and worship to Allah?
‘Umar Ibn Al Khattab Radiyallahu Anhu wanted to kill the Prophet
Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, was a alcohol drinker but look at that
light that Allah SWT gave him that he became one of the greatest Caliph
of Islam and became one of those ten promised of Jannah. Wallahi, it’s
the same light Allah is giving you right now.
Do not lose hope, help yourself, pray the next salah after you have prayed this, and talk to Allah SWT, repent and ask for His Forgiveness.
For when He forgives the One who Repents, He makes those who Love Him, forgive that person as well and creates that love in the hearts of those who Love Him to love that person who repented as well.
The solution to our problem, our grief, our regret and all that bad things that are happening in our life right now is none other than Allah. The relationship between you and Allah.
So let not a day pass by without you sincerely uttering, ASTAGHFIRULLAH
Remember, Allah will never give up on you, so don’t give up on Him as well.
