The Soul means choices and free will of human being.
Allah fully takes away the Souls at the time of death, and of those who do not die, in their sleep, means the choices and free will which has been given to human being is taken away after the death and during sleep man does not have any free will over anything.
Allah says:
Allah fully takes away the Souls at the time of their death, and of those who do not die, in their sleep. Then He withholds those on whom He had decreed death, and sends others back, up to an appointed term. Surely, in this, there are signs for a people who ponder.
(39:42)

COMPLETE SOUL:
===============
Allah has complete the Soul of human being, with Fajoor and Taqwa, means complete with the ability to live in the limits and exceed the limits.
Fajoor means exceeding the limits by flowing desire means commit mischief and bad deeds.
Taqwa means stay in the limits by being cautious hence refrain from evil and corruption.
Allah says:
And by the Soul, and the One who made it well, Then inspired it with its Fajoor and Taqwa.
(91:7,8)
Shall We make those who believe and do righteous deeds equal to those who commit mischief on the earth??? Or shall We make the Muttaqeen equal to the Fajireen???

NAFS-E-AMMARA AND NAFS-E-LAWAMA:
==================================
Nafs-e-Ammara means commandeering Souls and Nafs-e-Lawama means the self-reproaching Souls, as long as man does not reform his Souls, it commanded him to remains evil, once he reform his Souls it starts to reproaching him on evil.
Allah has made attractive for the mankind (لِلنَّاسِ) to love the desires of women, children, hoarded heaps of gold and silver, branded horses, cattle and well-tilled land and raised some of them in ranks over others, therefore the diseases of greed, envy, fear, suspicions and arrogance are develop in the Souls of mankind (لِلنَّاسِ), and the Soul commanded him to do evil for fulfilling his desires by exceeding the limits.
Allah has revealed the Quran for the guidance of mankind (لِلنَّاسِ), therein the clear verses of Furqan means the difference between right and wrong and commanded to follow it and do Taqwa. Quran explain the purpose of life and the reality of these things which are made desires for the mankind. After the guidance mankind (لِلنَّاسِ) purifying his Souls with the verses from these diseases; greed, envy, fear, suspicions and arrogance, so if he does any evil then his Souls start to reproaching him on evil.
Allah says:
And I do not absolve my Souls. Surely, man’s Souls always incites to evil, unless my Lord shows mercy. Certainly, my Lord is the Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.”
(12:53)
And I swear by the self-reproaching Souls.
(75:2)
It has been made attractive for people to love the desired things; that is, women, children, hoarded heaps of gold and silver, branded horses, cattle and well-tilled land. That is an enjoyment of the worldly life; but Allah has the excellent return with Him.
(3:14)
It is He who made you the successors of the earth and raised some of you in ranks over others, so that He may test you in what He has given you. Surely, your Lord is severe in punishment, and surely He is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.

The month of Ramadan is the one's in which the Quran was revealed as guidance for mankind, and as clear verses of Furqan (the difference between right and wrong).

And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be conscious, that you may receive mercy:

DISEASES OF SOUL:

The diseases of Greed , Envy, Fear, Suspicions and Arrogance are develop in the Souls of mankind (لِلنَّاسِ).
Allah says:
Those who are saved from the Greed of their Souls are the successful.
(64:16)
Many among the people of the Book desire to turn you, after your accepting the faith, back into disbelievers, all out of Envy in their Souls.
(2:109)
So, Musa concealed some Fear in his Souls.
(20:67)
When you heard of it, Why did the believing men and the believing women not Suspicions well in their own Souls???
(24:12)
Indeed they think too Arrogance in their Souls, and have gone too far in rebellion.
(25:21)

PURIFYING SOUL:
===============
So the success is really attained by him who do Taqwa by purifying his Soul from Fajoor, and the failure is he who pollutes his Soul with Fajoor.
Allah does not change the condition of a people unless they change their Souls, Whatever goods reaches you, is from Allah, means by act according to Allah's commands and whatever of evil befalls you, is from your Souls means act according the commands of your Soul. So the one who feared from the Status of his Lord, and restrained his Soul from the desire, hence the Paradise will be his abode.
Allah says:
Success is really attained by him who purifies it, And failure is really suffered by him who pollutes it.
(91:9,10)
Surely, Allah does not change the condition of a people unless they change themselves. When Allah intends evil for a people, there is no way to turn it back, and for them there is no protector other than Him.
(13:11)
Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allah, but whatever of calamity befalls you, is from yourself.
(4:79)
Whereas for the one who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained his Soul from the (evil) desire. The Paradise will be the abode.

CONTENT SOUL:
==============
Content Soul means, the Soul Allah pleased with him and he pleases Allah and that Soul cannot will, unless Allah wills.
Allah says:
“O Content Soul, come back to your Lord, as you pleased with him, he pleased with you. So, enter among My slaves. And enter in My Paradise.”
(89:27 to 30)
You cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.
