HOW MUCH ZAKAT HAS TO PAY????
===============================
Every income which a man has earned or brought from the harvest, its fifth share is called superfluous, and the fifth share of superfluous is called Zakat. The Zakat has to pay on the day of harvest means whenever receive income. Those who are able to afford or have save the provision for a year in the form of currency or gold and silver, they have to give all the superfluous in Zakat, and those who can not afford they just have to pay Zakat and save from the remaining share of superfluous for emergency.
Allah says:
O you who believe, spend of the good things you have earned, and of what We have brought forth for you from the earth, and do not opt for a bad thing, spending only from it, while you are not going to accept it (if such a thing is offered to you), and know well that Allah is All-Independent, Ever-Praised.
(2:267)
Pay His (Allah's) due on the day of harvest, and do not be extravagant. Surely, Allah does not like the extravagant.
(6:141)
And they ask you as to what they should spend. Say, the superfluous. This is how Allah makes His verses clear to you, so that you may ponder.
(2:219)
And know that out of all that enrich you may acquire a fifth share is assigned to Allah and to the Messenger and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer, if you do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our slave on the Day of Furqan (when you understand the difference between Haq and Batil), the Day when the two forces (Haq and Batil) met and Allah has power over all things.
(8:41)
Those among you who pass away and leave wives behind are to make a will in the favor of their wives to maintain them for one year without being expelled (from husband’s home).
(2:240)
.
PEOPLE, FOR WHOM ZAKAT HAVE TO GIVE???
========================================
The men of grace and wealth should not swear against giving to the kinsmen just because of some disagreement, and they should forgive and forego. So “Whatever you spend first should be for Allah and His Messenger and for the Parents of both Husband and Wife, kinsmen, Sister, Brother, Maternal aunt (mother's sisters), Maternal uncle (mother's brothers), Paternal uncle (father's brothers), Paternal aunt (father's sisters), etc. and whoever is needy, orphans and the wayfarer in them.
Allah says:
The men of grace and wealth among you should not swear against giving to the kinsmen and the poor and to those who have migrated in the way of Allah, and they should forgive and forego. Do you not like that Allah forgives you??? Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.
(24:22)
They ask you as to what they should spend. Say: “Whatever good you spend should be for parents, kinsmen, orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; and whatever good you do, Allah is all-aware of it.”
(2:215)
.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF ZAKAT???
================================
Zkate brings out people from the Shirk and people do Shirk by trusting in their wealth more than Allah, accumulate gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah, while wealth and children are a trial from Allah and the believers place their trust in Allah alone. A person can not attain righteousness unless he spends from what he love. Allah's mercy shall write for those who do Taqwa, pay Zakah, and believe in the verses.
Allah says:
And woe unto the Mushrikeen. Those who give not the Zakat and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter.
(41:6,7)
As for those who accumulate gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah, give them the ‘good’ news of a painful punishment.
(9:34)
Be aware that your wealth and your children are but a trial and that with Allah there is a great reward.
(8:28)
Say, “Nothing can ever reach us except what Allah has destined for us. He is our Master. And in Allah alone the believers must place their trust.”
(9:51)
You shall never attain righteousness unless you spend from what you love. Whatsoever you spend, Allah is fully aware of it.
(3:92)
My mercy extends to everything. So, I shall write it for those who do Taqwa and pay Zakah, and those who do believe in Our verses.
